Hotel in Val di Chiana Tuscany

Castello di Gargonza, hotel in Val di Chiana Tuscany, is located in the heart of Tuscany, between Siena and Arezzo along the rolling hills that border the Crete Senesi, Chianti Classico wine region and Val di Chiana. It is easily accessible becaus it is just off near the Monte San Savino A1 highway exit, and it is close to the outlet village for shopping.

How long does it take to go from Gargonza to Florence? (By taxi, I assume.) Thank you.

    Dear Mr Turner,
thanks for your message. There are three ways to get to Florence. The most convenient is with a rental car since Gargonza is at 6 km from the nearest village and a car is needed in Gargonza to visit around. It is 1 hr drive with the car. Another option is take a taxi to Arezzo station (Euro 50,00) and take a regional train to Florence (1 jr journey). Third option is the taxi of course with costs Euro 220,00 for Florence city centre. Please let me know if you need further details.

    Kindest regards,

    Neri Guicciardini
