The rooms of the Castle of Gargonza are located over various buildings within the village. There are 13 buildings which maintain their authentic structure and original atmosphere thanks to a careful restoration process. The comforts are modern while the atmosphere retains the feel of a long ago. There are three types of accommodations; comfort, classic, and superior, housing from one to four guests in utmost comfort.

Rooms Classic

Three double rooms or master bedrooms, each one equipped with a private bath/shower, a minibar, and a telephone are located within the Guest Quarters of the Main House (Gargonza 3), located next to the village wall, by the town entrance. Along the walls of the village, next to the entrance, there 2/3 bedroom apartment and a double bedroom (bed indivisible) with shower (Gargonza 12). The Fattore I house is nestled between the narrow lanes of Gargonza and contains two additional rooms. Within the first floor, facing south-east, the rooms are bright and welcoming. They offer queen-sized or double beds and come equipped with a bathroom featuring a bathtub or shower (Gargonza 18).

Comfort Rooms

The Cave house (Gargonza 9), houses a namesake master bedroom. It is very spacious, and includes a small living room in a hall with a queen-sized sofa bed, armchair, as well as a bathroom with shower and bathtub. Accommodates three guests in utmost comfort. The structure faces south, overlooking pine trees and the nearby forests.

Fattore II room 23, one comfort room with private bath, bathtub, shower and extra bed in separate room facing the medieval tower.

In address Gargonza 3, the Foresteria 4 house boasts a spacious junior suite, queen-sized (or double) bed, living-room with sofa bed. As well as two bathrooms, one with a bath tub, and the second equipped with a shower. It also has a minibar and a telephone. The structure faces the street that borders the village wall, next to the town entrance.

Superior Rooms

Within the Fattore I house, located in Gargonza 18, the first floor contains a large room, living room with a fireplace, master bedroom with a bathroom equipped with a bathtub/shower. The view overlooks the internal gardens of the Castle of Gargonza.

Fattore II room 22, on first floor faces southeast overlooking Chiana Valley; two independent double rooms with sofabed; one superior room with living- dining room, fireplace and sofabed (1+1), private bath (bathtub/shower).

This home is where the seamstress Niccolina once lived. The first floor of street number 15 contains a large bedroom, a living room area with a fireplace, a queen-sized bed or double beds and the bathroom.

The Palle house (Gargonza 6) is located on the first floor and can be accessed by an external staircase. It contains a large bedroom, a living room area with a fireplace, queen-sized bed or double beds, bathroom, and beautiful panoramic views.

The bedroom within the Pietrino house (Gargonza 7) also boasts breathtaking views. The two floor structure includes a living room with fireplace on the ground floor, and a steep staircase leads to a bedroom with a queen-size bed and bathroom.

The ‘Canapino’ room (Gargonza 10)  and the 'Pacche' (Gargonza 11) room overlooking pine trees, have both double beds  (possibility to add another). Both room offer a living room area with sofas and chairs. The Canapino is located on the ground floor meanwhile the Pacche is located via small steps.

All of the Superior Rooms come equipped with a kitchenette ideal for making tea, warming baby-bottles, etc.

The Castle of Gargonza Bed and Breakfast

Upon arrival, please check-in at the reception located in Gargonza 19. Our staff will provide you with directions on how to reach your apartment. Breakfast is severed in the Olive Press Cellar (buffet). Guests have at their disposal a panoramic swimming pool and restaurant located just outside the main city walls (Gargonza 25). When good weather permits, a snack bar is served within the lemon tree green-house.
